In the near future spcp7 will provide not yet existing JSR-168 portlets every community needs under the GPL licence as part of a project thesis at the University of Bamberg. Currently an Image Gallery Portlet which can be connected to nearly every content repository was released. A Banner Advertisement Portlet will follow. The whole development process is based on technologies/tools like maven, Java Server Faces (ICEFaces) and the Java Persistence API (Hibernate).
